WESTERN VAQUERO PACKAGE
Six days & Five nights of Cowboy (Vaquero/Vaquera) Life in Old Mexico, includes:
Transportation to and from the Ciudad Obregon Airport, plus a complimentary local guided tour of the village of Alamos.
Day One is spent in briefing and purchasing your Vaquero Clothing in the local Alamos Market. There are reasonable prices on boots, hats, belts and other western wear. On day one you will also determine the number of rides you would like to make for the week and learn about the various destinations. An optional drive to a neighboring silver village is also available in lieu of one of the three horse back rides.
You may have up to three 2-3 hour horseback rides to both the ranch and mountain country nearby. All the time being able to enjoy three quality meals a day at the famous Hacienda de los Santos Resort & Spa. One evening meal will be at the Hacienda de los Santos Ranch which you will experience after a group horseback ride to the beautifully naturally landscaped country setting. Here there will be live Mariachi music, complimentary wine, beer and Margaritas, plus a true ranch B.B.Q. with all the trimmings. Even an exhibition of Mexican ranch style dancing.
Back at the ‘Hacienda’ each day you will enjoy an optional early morning walk where you can also learn some of the fascinating history of the village and area. A two hour tequila class will be provided by the owner of the Hacienda with some of the premium tequilas sampled from his extensive collection of more than 500 types.
Besides all of your meals being included, you may have two complimentary 50 minute massages from one of our professionally trained staff of masseuse. Nightly in the Hacienda theater there will be one classic western film for your viewing. Also, you are welcome to enjoy one of the most unique, and authentic Cantinas, in Mexico which is filled with historic memorabilia along with one of the largest tequila collections in the country.

With the first two nights paid for a Hacienda Guest Room or a Suite, the guests will receive the 3rd and 4th nights complimentary. This is limited to two persons per room and a full breakfast with all menu selections available each day. An 18% tax will be added to the paid nights.
Those arriving by private aircraft will receive complimentary ground transportation to and from the Alamos Airport, plus complimentary hangar parking for single and light twin aircraft
Posada Tacubaya, a B&B, will offer to attendees of the Alamos Film Festival a special Four Night Film Package which includes:
With the first three nights paid for a room for one or two persons, the guests will receive the 4th night complimentary. A full breakfast will also be provided daily at the Agave Cafe in the Hacienda de los Santos Resort. An 18% tax will be added to the paid nights.
