Christmas Eve Experience2011
Alamos for the ChristmasHolidays…Why not?
Do you want to celebrate Christmas this yearin a really meaningful way? Hacienda de los Santos is the place to be. There is
no focus on gifts, even though Santa might drop by with a chocolate or two just
for you—and a photo opportunity, of course.Here the light shines on the
reason for the season: Jesus.
The Christmas Eve Posada begins at 6:30
p.m. with a moonlit walk through the Tacubaya Barrio following Mary on a burro
with Joseph at her side, pleading at several homes for a place to stay. You may
feel transported back 2011 years and truly experience what they must have felt.
Lovely Christmas music is played by Los Hacendados as we make this short
journey.
Returning to the Hacienda, the big doors will swing open, and
indeed there is room for the baby to be born…and for you. Magic hangs in the air
as our hearts are renewed with this representation of that most Holy Night. We
shall see kings, shepherds and angels as well as the baby Jesus. We will hear a
beautiful rendition of the Ave Maria sung to Mary and then we will all join
together joyfully singing “Feliz Navidad”.
We’ll have a Champagne toast
to fellow Holiday guests and it’s on to Christmas Eve dinner. There is always a
communal table for those who wish to make new friends and share the Holiday
love. Private seating can be a table for two or for a group or a family wishing
to dine together. Children are always welcome during the Holidays, or at
anytime, at the Hacienda.

Christmas Day Experience2011
You are welcome to come over to theHacienda in your P.J.’s if you wish. Yes, no kidding! We thank Pam and Heath
Wingate for starting this wonderful tradition. The Christmas morning buffet is
in the toasty warm El Agave Cafe. The Hacienda is your Holiday Home and we
celebrate breakfast in comfort. This custom is optional, but it’s lots of fun
for those who do participate.
$12.00 US plus tax and optional
gratuity.
Most of us dine around 9:00a.m., but the buffet is open from 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. You are always welcome
to sit down at a large round table and join other guests who are looking for fun
conversation. Talking about your travels and comparing notes is always a hot
topic at the Hacienda.
Starting at noon, the Chef will be grilling fillings fortacos on the mesquite wood-burning grill at El Agave Café Patio. Have a little
or have a lot. There will be salads & ranch beans on the side. Christmas
cookies & fresh fruit kabobs for dessert. $10.00 +tax and
gratuity.
A double-feature movie will be shown inthe Hacienda Theater starting at 1:30 p.m. Of course, we’ll have plenty of
popcorn. Movie selections are on the board outside of the Theater. (There will
be a fifteen minute break between the films.) No charge!
ChristmasEvening Feast
Christmas evening we will join again atthe Sugar Mill Portal for Christmas Dinner. Los Hacendados will be playing their
customary great music from 6:30 p.m. till 8:30 p.m.; the Communal Table will
dine at 7:30 p.m.We usually find this to be a rather mellow, but joyous,
evening that brings the Christmas Holidays to a close for most of
us.

New Year’s Eve Gala 2012
  
The Mayan Calendar has led some tobelieve that the world is going to come to an end on December 21st of 2012. Do
we believe that…? Not us! But just in case something happens we plan to ring in
this New Year like no other. Come join us for a Celebration of what’s to come…
Our repeat business tells us that if you want a fun time the Hacienda is “the”
place to be on New Year’s Eve.Guests dress to “impress themselves.” For
some, that may be a tux, but for other’s a great shirt and a pair of pants. The
same goes for the ladies. Go all out, or get decked out in what makes you feel
beautiful.Our Celebration begins at 7:30 p.m. with Chef Rene Duarte and
his staff going all-out with the “yum and wow factors” in their 6-course dinner
and presentation. Rito Valdez is busy designing and creating the ambiance for
the evening. The goal is perfection in every way!

We will dance the night away to the bestDisco in the north of Mexico courtesy of a group called “Yuhahay.”They
are as much fun as their name and they will have fun favors for us throughout
the night. The countdown to the New Year will happen before you
know it. If you are not a dancer you will be able to enjoy what’s happening on
their Big Screen throughout the evening and watch the dancing. Or you can wander
over to the Fundraiser at Hotel Colonial. A fun night to do it
all!!!Let’s ring in together a New Year filled with prosperity, health
and joy for all!
There’s no hurry to get to Brunch—itwill be served till noon. Double Feature Films start in the Hacienda Theater at
