Alamos for the Christmas Holidays… Why not?
Would you like to celebrate Christmas this year in a really meaningful way? Then Hacienda de los Santos is the place to be. Here, the light shines on the reason for the season: Jesus. Our focus isn’t on gifts, though Santa might drop by with a chocolate or two just for you—and a photo op, of course.
The Christmas Eve Posada begins at 6:30 p.m. with a moonlit walk through the Tacubaya Barrio, or neighborhood, following Mary on a burro with Joseph, begging every home they stop at for posada, or a place to spend the night. It will be easy to feel transported back 2011 years and truly experience what they must have felt.
Lovely Christmas music is played by Los Hacendados, who accompany us on this short journey. Returning to the Hacienda, the big doors will swing open and, indeed, here is a room for the baby to be born…and for you to enjoy. Magic fills the air as our hearts are renewed with this representation of that most Holy Night. Kings, shepherds and angels gather round the baby Jesus, while a beautiful rendition of the Ave Maria is sung to the Virgin Mary, followed by our heartfelt and joyful chorus of Feliz Navidad.
With renewed spirits we will toast our fellow holiday guests with chilled Champagne, and it’s on to Christmas Eve dinner. There is always a communal table for those who wish to make new friends and share the Holiday love. Private seating can also be arranged with table for two or for a group or a family wishing to dine together. Children are always welcome during the Holidays at the Hacienda.

Mass Schedule at the Cathedral for Christmas:
December 24th 10:00 p.m. Christmas Mass: Please bring a candy bar or another sweet treat for the person sitting next to you.
December 25th Christmas Mass will be held at 12:00 pm (usually a Guitar Mass) and 6:00 p.m.

¿Álamos en Navidad? ¡Y por qué no!
La Navidad es una época muy especial… En Hacienda de los Santos, celebramos esta ocasión en familia, uniendo la nuestra con la tuya. Aquí brilla la razón de ser de la Navidad: el nacimiento de nuestro Señor Jesucristo. Los no son el punto de enfoque—aunque Santa Claus de repente nos trae uno que otro chocolatito ¡y siempre le gusta tomarse una foto!
Nuestra Posada comienza a las 18:30 horas a la luz de la luna mientras caminamos por el barrio Tacubaya siguiendo José junto a María montada en su burro. Les acompañamos a pedir posada en cada hogar, pidiendo un rincón para poder descansar… Es fácil transportarse al pasado, a aquella noche hace más de 2000 años, y sentir su cansancio y esperanza.
El trío Los Hacendados nos acompañará, tocando hermosa música navideña. Al llegar a la Hacienda se abrirán las enormes puertas de madera: aquí sí hay lugar para el Niño Dios… y para ustedes también. La magia de la noche invade nuestros corazones con esta representación de este evento inolvidable. Reyes, pastores y ángeles rodean al Niño Jesús, mientras le cantan una hermosa rendición del Ave María a su Santa Madre, seguido de nuestra versión de Feliz Navidad.
Brindamos entre todos con una copa helada de Champán y proseguimos a nuestra cena navideña. Aquí siempre tenemos una mesa comunal para aquéllos que quieran conocer nuevas amistades y compartir en grupo. También ofrecemos mesas privadas para dos o para familias que prefieren cenar juntas. Los niños siempre son bienvenidos a la Hacienda durante la época navideña.
